FA Mars Just Play

find football near you

Whether it’s a more organised game of five or eleven a side or a simple kickabout, there’s a way of playing football waiting for you, around the corner, right now.

FA Mars Just Play

So what is Just Play?

Just Play is about playing football. As simple as that.

The FA and Mars, The FA's Adult Football Partner, have made it as easy as a ‘one-two’ to turn up and start playing the football that best suits you: whether it’s a good old-fashioned kickabout or the more competitive game, like 5 or 11 a side.

To make playing footy as easy as possible, we've created a new, fun and informal way to play the game. Just Play! kickabouts are great for when you want to play without committing to a weekly game, a complicated league or fancy team strips. It’s all about loose, casual play. So any excuses about fitness or levels of experience should be left where they deserve to be: at the bottom of your kit bag. Don’t leave your love of football back in the day. Find yourself a kickabout, book your place, turn up and Just Play!

Check out our Just Play launch film involving Peter Crouch and Theo Walcott.

We've also been to Ealing, West London where Peter Crouch grew up and where he has fond memories of enjoying kickabouts with his mates. Check out our short film here of Peter talking through his memories and love of the game.

5-a-side

There's a 5's Centre waiting for you

If fast, competitive, small-sided and skilful football is your thing then you might be ready for 5-a-side. It can be a great way of getting an intense ‘after work’ work-out with a bunch of friends. And despite the official name it’s often played by 4 or 7 players a side, so however many of you there are you can still get involved.

Check the ‘5-a-side’ box in the search facility and we’ll get you the contact details of a 5s Centre so you can get in touch with them and let them know you’re up for a game.

11-A-Side

11-a-side Clubs What will your position be?

Surely no introduction is necessary. Great passing, skilful tackling and the buzz of getting the ball in the back of the net – this is where teamwork and dedication come together to be the game at its best. And if watching it on the box gets you thinking about your glory days at school or university, and you get the urge to get out there again, well we’re here to help you off that sofa.

Check the ‘11-a-side’ box in the search facility and the results will list not only the clubs and teams in your area, but the leagues they play in and the contact details of the club secretary. You’ll be able to get in touch and let them know you’re up for a game.
